Frequently Asked Questions

Please feel free to contact our office if you cannot find an answer to your question!

Yes, we accept most dental insurance plans. We are out of network with most plans, but will file claims as a courtesy to our patients.

After much deliberation, our practice made an important change - Effective January 1, 2023, we began opting out as a contracted provider in Delta Dental’s network. Over the last few years, it has become increasingly difficult to practice as in-network providers and continue to provide the high quality of care that we value and promise to our patients. We are unwilling to compromise our standard of excellence by cutting corners to conform to the restrictions that dental insurance plans place on their in-network providers. We have reached a point where we cannot offer the same high quality dentistry we value under their contracts. So, rather than lower the high standards that we have maintained since we have opened, we have chosen to eliminate our preferred status with Delta Dental.

What this means for you:

  1. You can continue to be a patient in our practice, and we hope you do!  Our office will continue to accept Delta Dental Insurance plans and file/submit your dental claims as an out-of-network provider.
  2. Some Delta plans will still send payments to our office. Those patients will be responsible for the estimated amounts not covered by insurance at time of service, just like before.
  3. Some Delta plans choose to reimburse the subscriber (patient) directly. Those patients will be required to pay in full at time of service, and Delta Dental will reimburse you directly within 7-10 business days.
  4. Whether they pay us or the subscriber depends on the plan that your employer chose.

Please know this was a difficult decision for our practice to make, as we know this will directly affect many of you, some who have been with our practice for a long time. We hope that the care you have received from us and the partnership that we have built as advocates for your oral health will encourage you to continue with our practice.

We accept cash, personal checks, MasterCard, and Visa.  We also accept Care Credit.
