Culberson R. Boren, DDS - "Dr. Boren"

Dr. Culberson Boren received his Bachelor of Science from East Texas State University before attending Baylor College of Dentistry where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1981 and then completed his Pediatric Residency in 1983. Dr. Boren has dedicated his career to treating the children of East Texas for over 40 years at our Tyler location! In 2012, Dr. Boren expanded the practice by opening offices in  Jacksonville and Longview. As the founder and creator of Dentistry for Children, Dr. Boren takes great pride in providing an exceptional personal experience for each patient. 

Fun fact: Dr. Boren can often be heard making bird chirping sounds to make sure patients are comfortable and having fun during their visit!

In his spare time, Dr. Boren enjoys traveling, and spending time with his family.

After earning his dental degree in India, Dr. Kumar relocated to the U.S. and continued to advance his expertise. He obtained a Master's in Public Health from the University of Oregon in 2006, followed by a Dental Public Health Postdoctoral Residency at SUNY in 2007, and an Advanced Education in General Dentistry from the Lutheran School of Dental Medicine in 2008.

For over a decade, Dr. Kumar dedicated himself to family dentistry  but his true calling was always pediatric care. To fulfill his goal of becoming a Pediatric Dentist, he returned to school, completing his specialty training at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in 2020. That July, he proudly joined Dentistry for Children and is now an owning partner, primarily serving patients at our Longview location. A fun fact about Dr. Kumar: he loves to make balloon animals for his patients! Outside of his practice, he enjoys a full family life with his wife and two children, and unwinds by gardening, hiking, and playing cricket and tennis.

 Dr. Le grew up in the Pacific Northwest where he received his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at the University of Washington in 2002. He then moved to the northeast and graduated from New York University College of  Dentistry in 2008. While at NYU, he also met his wife Dr. Ming, who is also a Dentist. Dr. Le has been treating children in Tyler since 2008. He joined Dentistry for Children in 2012, and is now an owning partner practicing at our Jacksonville location. 

Fun fact: Dr. Le is a huge Seattle Seahawks fan!  

Dr. Le enjoys snowboarding, camping, and all things outdoors. 

Dr. Ming grew up in Sacramento, California and received her degree in Biological Science from the University of California, Irvine in 2004.  She then moved across the country to pursue her dream of becoming a dentist at New York University where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery and met her husband, Dr. Le. In 2008, they moved to East Texas where she began treating children in the Longview area before joining Dentistry for Children at our Tyler location in 2012. 

Fun fact: While growing up in California, one of Dr. Ming's favorite hobbies was  breakdancing as a way to showcase her artistic side!

Away from the office, Dr. Ming loves to spend time with their daughter, travel, snowboard, paddleboard, and shop.
