Dr. Culberson
R. Boren graduated from South Garland High in 1974 and
is a Baylor Dental School
Graduate. Two years later he
moved to Tyler where he has been practicing pediatric
dentistry for over 25 years.

Dr.
Manav Malik
Dr. Manav Malik or “Dr. M&M”, as the kids call him,
attended dental school in his home state at the FL
College of Dentistry and graduated in the top 5% of his
class. Later he went on to specialize in pedodontics at
Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas. We are happy to
have him here as a part time associate and he also
speaks Spanish.

Laurel
Laurel is our office manager and
insurance coordinator. She will be able to answer all of
your billing questions and handle your child’s insurance
claims. Laurel began at Dentistry for Children as a dental
assistant in 1997.

Ruby
Ruby is our hospital and recall
coordinator. She sets up all surgery dates and physical
appointments prior to hospitalization. She is bilingual
and will be happy to assist you with any Spanish needs.
Ruby has been with Dr. Boren since 2001.

Keagan
Keagan is front office and treatment
coordinator. She will be able to help you schedule
treatment appointments and answer questions on office
policies and procedures. She has also contributed to the
planning and construction of our new office.

Mishae
Mishae is one of
the front office receptionists and marketing coordinator.
She takes all payments for your visit and schedules any
follow up appointments as they are needed.

Brandi
Brandi is one of our registered
hygienists; a 2006 graduate of the hygiene program at
Tyler Junior College. She has been working with Dr. Boren
since early 2007.

Teresa
Teresa is one of
our registered hygienists and has been a part of our team
since 1997.

Jamie
Jamie is one of our registered dental
assistant and our supply manager. She assists Dr. Boren in
treatment at our office and in the hospital. Jamie was a
patient here when she was a child and is happy to now be a
part of Dr. Boren’s team.

Elvia
Elvia is one of
our registered dental assistants. She is bilingual and
helps Dr. Boren with our Spanish speaking parents and
patients. She is trained to work in the hospital as well
as in our office.

Kayla
Kayla is our back
office assistant. She aids the dental assistants in
writing up charts, helping the doctor, instrument
sterilization, and explaining treatment plans and
instructions to our parents. Kayla will be happy to help
you with any questions you may have regarding your visit.

Morgan is one of our front office assistants and will
be happy to help you with all of your check in needs.

our front office assistants and she will be happy to help
set up 6 month checkups and follow up appointments at the

Irlanda
Irlanda is one of
our hygiene assistants. She
helps our hygienists with calling patients back, taking
x-rays, ect. Being bi-lingual she also helps with
explaining treatment needs and instructions to our Spanish
speaking families.

assistants and she is our clinical team leader. She
assists Dr. Boren in the office and at the hospital where
she is also certified. Holly has been with Dr. Boren since
1998.
